Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your school's use of the Almighty Schools platform ("the Service") operated by Almighty Schools Ltd ("Almighty"). By creating a school account or signing in, you agree to these Terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a school, you confirm you are authorised to bind that school to this agreement.

2. Accounts & roles

The school administrator is responsible for inviting staff, parents, and students, and for deactivating accounts when someone leaves. You must keep credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store or send unlawful, defamatory, or harassing content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
• Upload malware or content that infringes third-party intellectual property.
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your role.

4. School data

Your school owns the data it uploads. Almighty stores and processes it on your instructions to provide the Service, as detailed in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawful collection of data you upload (e.g. parental consent where required).

5. Payments (manual mode)

Fee payments recorded through the Service in its current form are manual bank transfers — parents pay directly to your school's bank account and upload proof; your administrators confirm receipt. Almighty does not process, hold, or transmit money. Reconciliation accuracy is the school's responsibility.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Service continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in-app where reasonably possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure, force majeure, or events outside our control.

7. Subscription & fees

Subscription fees, if any, are agreed separately with your school. Non-payment may result in read-only access or suspension after reasonable notice.

8. Termination & data export

Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. On termination, the school may request a CSV export of its data within 60 days, after which data may be permanently deleted from production systems (backups roll off according to their retention schedule).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Almighty's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees paid by the school in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data attributable to the school's own actions.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be notified to school administrators in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
